The official hotel for the 14th AGO National Conference on Organ Pedagogy is the Hilton Knoxville (downtown).  The special conference rate is $92 plus tax, including a continental breakfast.  Conference participants should make reservations directly with the Hilton by calling 865-523-2300 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST) or 800-HILTONS, or via the Hilton Web site, www.hilton.com

The deadline to reserve rooms under the special AGO rate has been extended until January 25, 2007. Don't forget to mention the conference code “AGO” to receive the conference rate.

Knoxville is served by McGhee Tyson Airport, located about 10 miles from downtown Knoxville. The airport is served by American Eagle, Comair, Continental Express, Delta, Northwest, United, and US Airways Express Airlines. Taxi service from the airport to downtown Knoxville is available at $20-30.

Because the Hilton Knoxville is located approximately one mile from the University of Tennessee campus, bus transportation between the hotel and the campus is included in the conference registration fee.

Parking at the Hilton Knoxville is available at $6 per day. Valet parking is available at $10 per day.

Guest parking on the University of Tennessee campus between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday through Friday is available only in the University Center parking garage. Rates are $1 per half hour. Conference participants may receive a special conference rate of $5 per day by showing their conference program to the parking attendant. Saturday parking on the campus is free.

For the Friday morning conference session participants will walk the three blocks from the Hilton Knoxville to First Presbyterian Church. A shuttle van will be available for those unable to walk. Parking is available at the church at no charge.
